Welcome to the NSFS website. The Nordic Stage Fight Society, is a non-for-profit organisation that currently consists of members from four countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia. Since 1995 when NSFS was officially founded, the society has offered education, training and research that is recognized internationally. NSFS provides: Choreographers, teachers and certified actor/combatants working in theatre, tv, film and education. Training in the art of staged fighting techniques from historical to modern, armed as well as unarmed. International exchange of safe combat techniques, research and artistic development. Today there is an increasing need for actors and choreographers to be able to accomplish more and more demanding physical activities for stage and screen. The NSFS maintains the highest standards of safety while providing an international forum for those interested in the art of staged combat. The society is currently undergoing some major changes, regarding structure and test systems. My vision is that we within the next five years will be able to offer one of the best training programs around. I hope you'll join us, we need your input.
